Adventure, baby!

Easy Like Sunday Arvo

I had the puppies this weekend so Alec and I took them to lunch at The London in Rozelle with some friends. The London is a pretty cool pub – mostly because it allows dogs inside. The food was a bit pricey, but was still nice, and the company was great.

Girls looking glam.

The boys at the guys’ end.

I try on B’s sunnies.

Profile view. I think I must get a pair.

Fooooood.

All of the food groups. Sugar, chocolate and fat.

My boscaiola. It was supposed to be with chicken. I asked for it without chicken and they gave me bacon instead. Weird.

L’s vege nachos.

Alec’s schnitzel.

Dessert – mousse. It was yummy. Not sure it was $13 yummy, but still good.

The girls chill out.

Pat me muuuuuuum.

The girls meet a new friend. Butt-sniffing ensues.

B makes some new friends.

Purple Flowers

Alec gave me some lovely flowers out of the blue. What an awesome guy 🙂 The photo doesn’t do them or their beautiful colour justice.

Exercise Junky

I have been exercising like a mad woman this week to get fit again. This is what I’ve done so far:

Monday: Netball
Tues: Dance class
Wed: Day off
Thurs: Indoor climbing
Fri: Two back-to-back netball games.

No wonder I’m about to collapse. How long till I start feeling the benefits?

On a different topics, I saw Shannon Noll in Pitt St Mall yesterday. He was singing and promoting his new album. I jumped in and snapped him with the iPhone camera. Not a bad quality shot! On ya Nollsy!

Three Bloggers and Two Fiesty Ferrets

What happens when three obsessed bloggers get together for dinner and gossip? A night of food, fashion and ferrets – like Bev’s blog come to life.

Bev, Lisa and I had dinner at the St James Hotel, which is a fave of Bev’s. I’ve never been there before, but I was delighted at the cheap, tasty food. Schnitzel for $10!

After a bit of window shopping, we head back to Bev’s place for some delicious imported chocolates. They were some of the nicest chocolate I have ever eaten – soft creamy centre with rice crisps. Yum!

Lisa mid-(ecstatic)bite.

Action shot – Beverly photo-ing the chocolate for her blog.

I broke my sugar detox for a few of these amazing treats.

No visit to Bev’s is complete without some ferret play. The vids below only begin to capture the lunacy. 🙂

Horses Are Pretty Cool

A lot of people seem to be a bit scared of horses. I like to think of them as big, less-cuddly dogs. Check out these vids from C.O.

Horses are people too, you know!

Pugs are Cool

Thanks to Cute Overload, I get to indulge myself in little pugs on a regular basis.

360 degree fat rolls. I love it.

Meow!

Shelley had me over for dinner tonight – we made an excellent stirfry, watched So You Think You Can Dance and played with her gorgeous cats.
