This movie is by the guys who did 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up (who are “the guys” anyway?)
The exposed female genitals in Knocked Up were really a warning of what “the guys” were warming up to … full-frontal male nudity in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I was quite stunned by the frequent male nude shots – and equally surprised that there was no female nudity whatsoever – right on!
The movie started out quite slowly. Peter’s TV star girlfriend, Sarah, breaks up with him (cue male nudity shots numbers one, two and three). In order to get over her, he goes by himself on a holiday to Hawaii. Unfortunately, Sarah has also gone to Hawaii – with her new rock star boyfriend.
It’s here that the movie really gets funny, with cameos from the actors from the previously mentioned movies, Paul Rudd and Jonah Hill.
A really entertaining movie. Over and out!
